What is Lightroom?
Lightroom is an editing program created by adobe. It can be used to its full advantage on computer, but can also be used on a phone. In my opinion it is the perfect all around photo editing program.
You can change exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, any color, temperature, tint, saturation, etc. etc. Like I said it can basically do it all. It is the program that most professional photographers use, and for good reason.
Its capabilities, and quality that it keeps photos far exceeds any other program I have ever come across. I highly recommend it.
If you are new to Lightroom, it can seem daunting at first. Which is why I recommend buying a preset to get you started! You can purchase mine HERE. Or if you have a different style for editing that you like you can search on instagram or Etsy for other presets!
Lightroom CC vs. Classic
Lightroom Classic in short, is capable of more, and helps you to be more organized with your photos. This is the version most professionals use, but it is more difficult to understand.
Lightroom CC is more user friendly. Its easier to navigate especially for beginners, and CC connects to the app on your phone so data will sync automatically (when connected to wifi) to your phone from your computer!
What is a preset?
A preset is a file that contains a pre-set list of settings on Lightroom. (Hence the name!) All of these settings combined can be compared slightly to a filter. Lightroom doesn’t change the quality of the photo, and can actually sometimes make the photo quality appear better. Especially when you get into things like lens correction.
TIPS
I highly recommend getting Lightroom, yes it does cost money, but in my opinion it is worth every penny! The $9.99 photography plan is the one I have, which you can purchase HERE.
I wanted to keep this short and sweet, but if you sign up for email updates on the right side of the page, I will be sending out weekly tips for using Lightroom! You can also email me any questions you may have at the contact section of our site.

Hey girl I bought your presets months ago & have been using them on my computer. I was looking for the email to figure out how to download the presets to Lightroom cc on my phone but the email has been deleted. 🙁 what can I do?
Author
I will resend those! is the email shown on the comment the one I should email?
Hey! I’m so excited about my presets! Although, I can’t seem to download them on my iMac. I followed your directions but it is saying that it cannot be found. I’ve downloaded the .zip file, just trying to drag and drop them into Lightroom CC is giving me trouble!

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! Have you tried just double clicking?? If that doesn’t work ether then open up Lightroom cc and hit file once opened. Then go to “import profiles and presets” and then select all of my presets by first selecting one of them then holding command while you select the others, then press import! ❤️ Hope that helps!
Neither of these things are working! 🙁 it gives me the same “No images that can be imported were found in the selected sources” error.

Hi! So it shouldn’t be showing up as an image! try something else really fast! When you double click the .zip file it should open up and show you all of the individual presets! Once those are open go to Lightroom classic and hit “import presets” you should then be able to select all of my presets and hit import! Once thats done just restart Lightroom! I hope this is helpful! If not be sure to shoot me an email!
Hello,
I just purchased your presets and I thought it downloaded, but every time I went to open the file to import it to lightroom, it wasn’t under My Downloads. So I tried downloading again and it said I reached the downloading limit. I can’t find the file anywhere on my computer, and I am not sure what to do!
